The Brave Hunter Episode 15

The princess and the farmer walked very fast because time was running out. They didn't want to be late. They didn't want the king to go to the village square before then. If the king goes to the village square before then, Uche will be killed. But if they meet the farmer in his chambers, they might be able to convince him to release Uche and save his innocent life.

"I hope my father is still in his chambers. I hope he hasn't gone to the village square and given them orders to kill Uche." The princess said to herself with tears in her eyes.

The king was sitting on his throne with an angry face when the farmer entered the chamber. The room was silent except for the noise of the crowd at the village square. The princess stepped forward, and knelt before her father.

"Father, I have something to tell you. I have learned that it was Uche who saved my life from the kidnappers. He told me how he blew charms into the air, and the kidnappers fell asleep. Then he carried me to a safe place. But the warriors mistook him for the kidnapper and arrested him.

"The princess said. She was crying.

"Father, are you truly going to kill an innocent man? A man who has done nothing but save your daughter's life?" She said tearfully.

"I told you I am already pregnant for him. Do you want my unborn child to grow up without a father? Do you want me to live with the pain of knowing that my father killed the man I love? Please, Father, I beg you... don't let this happen. "The princess pleaded.

The king was calm. The princess looked into his eyes, desperate for a response, but he remained silent. That silence made her uncomfortable. She feared he had already made up his mind, but she refused to stop talking.

"This is not just about me, Father. This is about justice. Uche doesn't deserve this." She said.

The farmer then stepped forward and bowed The farmer then stepped forward and bowed respectfully before speaking.

"My king, I have also come to speak for Uche. I visited his village recently. His people were searching for him, not knowing where he had gone. His parents are in tears every day because their son is missing. They have no idea that here, in your kingdom, he is tied to a tree, waiting to be killed for something he never did." The farmer said.

"My king, if you take the life of this innocent man, it will not end here. His people may not accept it quietly. They could see it as an act of war against them. I beg you, for the sake of peace between villages, for the sake of truth, let this young man go. He has committed no crime. All he has done is save your daughter's life." The farmer pleaded.

The king finally spoke after listening to them.

"I had no idea that he is innocent. No one told me it was Uche who saved my daughter from the kidnappers. I thought he was just a criminal and kidnapper caught by my warriors.The king said. His voice was full of remorse.

"If all you have said is true, then Uche is an innocent manAnd I will not let an innocent man die under my rule." The king said. He turned to the guards and issued orders.

"Prepare to go to the village square. I will release him myself.The king said. The princess was overwhelmed with joy.

The king stood up from his throne. His robe was flowing behind him as he stepped down. The princess rose to her feet quickly. She was happy. The farmer bowed deeply.

"Thank you, my king,The farmer said sincerely. The king nodded. Lucky the dog, who has been lying quietly at the door, got up and wagged his tail.

The sound of footsteps filled the chamber as they began to walk toward the palace gate. The princess walked beside her father, while the farmer followed closely. Lucky ran behind them.

The dog sensed that something important was about to happen. The noise from the village square grew louder with every step they took. The air felt tense, but this time, there was hope in it.

And so, the king, the princess, the farmer, and Lucky made their way toward the village square. They were going to save Uche before it was too late. The crowd outside did not yet know what was about to happen, but change was on the way.

"I'm so happy Uche will be saved. This is the happiest day of my life. The next problem now is how to convince my father to allow me to marry the brave hunter.The princess said.
