The Childless Wife

Episode 8

"You think you can scare my wife to collect money from her?

Well, if you try it again, I will disgrace you publicly. My wife remains my wife whether you slept with her or not. I will not chase her away if that is what you want. I will not divorce her or beat her even though I know you slept with her. I will welcome the baby and raise the child even if it belongs to you. You are a mad man calling yourself a pastor. Look for another woman who you will collect money from. You will not get 'shishi' from my wife or me." Lolade's husband said with anger in his voice. The pastor was just looking at him as if he has seen a ghost. This is the first time he was meeting a very difficult person who was refusing to give him money.

"Did you wife tell you that I have more videos of me and her in bed? Did she tell you what I intend to do with those videos? I was not just going to send them to you. I also have plans of posting them online if you fail to pay me the N5 million I'm demanding. Do you think you can scare me?" The pastor asked angrily. He was shaken by the guts of Lolade's husband but he too refused to give up easily.

"I'm not here to scare you. I'm here to tell you what I will do to you if you continue to threaten my wife. If this is how you have been deceiving women and collecting money from them, I want to tell you that my wife is the wrong person. I'm also the wrong man for you to threaten. I have that N5 million. I even have more than that, but you are not getting a dime from me or my wife. You can do anything you want with the videos. In fact, I can even post them online myself." Lolade's husband said angrily.

"If you leave this place without giving me that money, you won't like what I will do to you and your wife. By the time I finish with the two of you, your lives and marriage will crash. I will show you that I'm a powerful man of God." The pastor responded.

"You are not a powerful man of God. You are a fraudulent man of Satan. There is no godliness in you. You are evil and you are hiding under the church to commit crimes. If you are a man of God, you won't be sleeping with people's wives. But I'm about to expose you." He said.

"What do you think you can do to me? I have money. I'm popular and well-known in the society. People know me as a man of God. Anything you say about me will not go far. People will not even believe you if you tell them I slept with your wife. In fact, I have followers who are ready to die for my sake. You can try, but there is nothing you can do. I'm the one who is about to destroy you for trying to challenge my authority." The pastor said.

"You don't have any authority. I'm about to prove to you that you are just a pile of trash. You are not a pastor. You are a thief. I will blow the breeze and your dirty bombom will open for people to see."

Lolade's husband left the pastor's office in anger. He went back home. He collected his wife's phone and copied the pastor's phone number. He saved it in his phone. He then hid his Whatsapp DP and sent the pastor a message.

"Daddy good evening sir. I'm a new member of your church. Please, I attended your church last Sunday and I was inspired by your message. I want to be a permanent member. I want to know if your church has a Whatsapp group. I will like to join the group so that I will be receiving your wonderful messages. Thank you sir. You are a true man of God. I will like to donate N8 million to the church." Lolade's husband said in the message he sent to the pastor on Whatsapp.

"What do you want to do?" Lolade asked her husband.

"I want to join the pastor's Whatsapp group." He said.

"Why?" Lolade asked.

"Don't worry, just watch what I'm about to do. That man will be the one to beg us. I will prove to him that he is not the only one who knows how to threaten people." He said. Shortly after he sent the message, the pastor responded. The pastor sent him a link he can follow and join the church Whatsapp group. The pastor also sent his account number, not knowing that Lolade's husband used that as a bait.

Lolade's husband quickly clicked on the link and joined the church Whatsapp group. He was happy to see a large number of people there. The group has 1500 members. It's like all the church members are in the Whatsapp group.

"This is exactly what I want." He said to himself. He typed a message in the group.

"Hello everyone. I'm a new member of the church. I thank the pastor for adding me to the group. But I have an important announcement to make. Your pastor slept with my wife and got her pregnant. I have two video evidence. He even recorded the videos by himself and he is using them to threaten my wife. He is asking us to pay him N5 million or he will expose my wife online. Well, I decided to post the video here by myself because I'm not going to give him any money. Please, you people should stop going to this church. The pastor is evil. Don't go to church on Sunday." Lolade's husband said in the message. He posted it in the church Whatsapp group. He also posted the two videos. But before posting the videos, he edited them and cut out the parts that showed his wife. He only posted the parts that showed the pastor when he was removing his clothes.

"I will teach this pastor a lesson." Lolade's husband said.
