The Childless Wife Episode Nine

"There is fire on the mountain. This man wants to destroy my church. He wants my church members to start moving to another worship center. This man wants to destroy my source of livelihood. Why did he post such a thing in the Whatsapp group? Let me quickly remove him." The pastor said to himself immediately he saw the videos posted by Lolade's husband. A lot of church members had started leaving the Whatsapp group immediately after the video was posted.

"I will remove him and block him. Within a few minutes that he posted the video, 500 church members left the group. What am I going to do? This man has destroyed my ministry. I was just threatening him and his wife so that they will give me money, I was not serious with the threat. All I just wanted was money, but the man has taken it to the next level. This man is wicked but I'm wiser than him." The pastor said. He was almost crying in his office when he saw how his church members were leaving the Whatsapp group. He was afraid that on Sunday, no one will come to church because they have seen what he was doing with a married woman.

"I will also call him and beg him. I don't want to lose my church members. If I had known, I would not have threatened his wife. He edited the video showed only my body. He did not show his wife. He is a wicked man." The pastor said. He picked up his phone and removed Lolade's husband from the Whatsapp group. Не also deleted the video.

However, a few minutes after, Lolade's husband clicked on the link again and joined the group again and also posted the videos again. Some more members of the church saw the video and started leaving. Within 24 hours, 1000 members of the church left the Whatsapp group. They were shocked that their pastor could do such a thing. The pastor tried to explain it but failed.

"I will tell them that the video is Al. I will tell them that the man used Al to edit the video and put my face there. That is the only explanation I can give." He said as he opened his Whatsapp to type a message for the remaining members of the church. However, when he entered the church Whatsapp group, he saw that there were only 200 members remaining there out of more than 1500 people. He had no idea that Lolade's husband rejoined the group after he removed him. The pastor's heart was broken into pieces.

"When did he rejoin the group? I thought I removed him a while ago? Let me completely block him so that he will not be able to rejoin." The pastor said with tears in his eyes. He blocked Lolade's husband, but by the time he did that, it was already too late. All the members of the church Whatsapp group had left. They were too shocked to believe that their pastor slept with someone's wife, and recorded a video of it. It was shocking that they saw their pastor's face in such a video without any clothes on his body.

"I'm finished!" The pastor said. He picked up his phone and called Lolade's husband. He knew that if things continue the way they were going, he would lose his church members and there will be no one in church the next Sunday.

"Please, Oga, I want to come to your house. I have something to tell you." The pastor said to Lolade's husband.

"Don't worry! I'm already on my way to your church. Wait for me there." Lolade's husband said. He was driving from work to the pastor's church so that he would give him the final warning but the pastor just wanted to beg him so that they will settle things amicably. Not long after, Lolade's husband pulled up in his car and parked in front of the pastor's church. The pastor was already outside waiting for him. He greeted Lolade's husband with a lot of respect.

"Good evening sir. Please sir, I was not serious when I said I was going to post the videos. I was just joking sir. Please, let us settle this war. I'm losing all the members of my church. Please, the church is the only means of likelihood that I have. If the church is destroyed, my family will starve. Please, can you come to my church on Sunday and tell the church members that the video was edited with Al? Please, let the war be over." The pastor said with tears in his eyes.

"You started the war and it is not yet over. By the time I'm done with you, you will never be able to threaten any woman again. In your life, you will never be hungry to sleep with a married woman again. The only solution is for you to hand over the remaining videos to me. If you do that, then I can come to your church and tell your members that the video was fake and not real." Lolade's husband said.

"I will give you all the videos. Please, here is my phone, you can transfer all the videos to your phone." The pastor said as he handed over his phone to Lolade's husband. Lolade's husband transferred all the videos to his phone and then deleted them from the pastor's phone.

"Now, you should get ready to face the police.Lolade's husband said.

"Please, sir, don't do this to me. Let us not involve police." The pastor begged but Lolade's husband did not listen to him. He drove to a police station and reported the case. He showed some of the videos to the police. He said the pastor forces himself on people's wives and then records videos so that he would threaten them to collect money. That was a very serious case. That same day, the pastor was arrested.

When he got home that night, he showed his wife all the videos he seized from the pastor and Lolade was shocked as she looked at the videos.

"How did you collect the videos?" She asked.

"I'm your husband and I promised you I will protect you. That pastor will suffer for touching you." Lolade's husband said.
