The Childless Wife Episode 5

"I'm in hot okra soup. How am I going to handle this pastor? I don't have the N5 million he is asking for. Where am I going to see that kind of money? I know that even if I give him the money, he will not go away. He will still ask for more money. The man wants to destroy my life. How did I get myself into this kind of situation? I didn't expect things to turn out like this."

Lolade said the next day after her husband left for work. She was in her room alone, weeping and thinking of what to do. As she was still weeping, her phone rang. She looked at the screen and saw that it was the pastor who was calling her. She decide not to pick the call. She was scared and didn't want to hear any more threats from the pastor.

"I won't pick the call. Let him do what he wants. The agreement we had was that he would get me pregnant and the relationship will end. We were not dating. We were not in a relationship. I just wanted to get pregnant. And now, I'm pregnant. I will not go back to continue sleeping with him. He is asking for too much. I kept visiting him for three good months and still, that was not enough for a him. I'm not afraid of his threats and I'm not going to give him any money." Lolade said in her heart. But deep down, she knows that the pastor could be dangerous. She knew it was a difficult situation and that she would be in trouble if the pastor decides to expose her to her husband. She decided not to ignore him completely. She typed a text message and sent to him on WhatsApp.

"Dear pastor, I want to say thank you for what you did for me. I'm grateful you helped me to get pregnant. This has been my heart desire for many years. I appreciate the fact that you helped me to achieve my desire to bear a child for my husband. But I honestly cannot keep visiting you. I'm a married woman. I will be risking my marriage if I keep coming to your office to be in your bed. Please, look for other women to enjoy with and leave me alone. Also, I don't have the N5 million you are asking for. I can't afford such amount of money. In fact, I can't give you any amount at all. You are a pastor. If truly you are a man of God as you claim, you should not be sleeping with people's wives. Please, kindly stay away from me. If you try anything funny, I will report you to the police and you will be arrested." Lolade said. She was issuing threats to the pastor to know if he would get scared and stop disturbing her. However, she did not know that the pastor was also prepared for anything. He responded to her message immediately. The text message he sent to her was scary.

"You probably don't know who you are joking with. I'm not your ordinary pastor. You think the job I did for you is free? Like I told you yesterday, you have to pay me N5 million or you will keep coming to my office until the time I'm fully satisfied with you. Look, let me tell you something you don't know. I have a videos of everything we did in my office. In fact, from the very first day you started coming to my office, I have been recording the videos and I have them in my phone. If you joke with me, I will send the videos to your husband. You definitely don't want that to happen. But if you want, I can simply send the video to your husband and the whole secret will be exposed within seconds."

The pastor said in the text message he sent to Lolade on Whatsapp. Immediately she read the message, she was alarmed.

"Oh God! The pastor has a video of me. This is real trouble. This man is evil. He wants to spoil my marriage. He wants to damage everything I have built. How did I get myself into this trouble? How did I fall into this problem? But let me stay strong. Let me send him another message to see if he truly has the video or he is just threatening me unnecessarily just to get money from me." Lolade said to herself after reading the scary message. She typed another message and sent to the pastor immediately.

"It's a lie. You don't have any video. You are just using that as a means to collect money from me. If it's true that you have a video of me in your bed, send it to me let me see." Lolade tells the pastor. Immediately after she sent the message to the pastor, the pastor replied her with two videos. The videos showed Lolade and the pastor in his bed. It even showed the first day he touched her in bed.

"These two videos are just part of the 75 videos that I have in my phone. Don't try me. I told you that I recorded everything we did in my bed right from the first day you started coming until when you told me that you were pregnant. If you try to be smart, I sent all the videos to your husband. I have his Whatsapp number." The pastor said. Lolade was devastated when she saw the videos.

"Oh God! Things have gotten worse. He has it. I wish I never visited him." Lolade said with tears in her eyes.
