Strength of a Woman Episode Three

Juliana knew that something bad was going to happen to her husband after she left the hospital ward. That was why she had gone straight to the doctor's office to report the suspicious moves being exhibited by Angel and her children. Luckily, the doctor was free and he had agreed to follow her to the hospital ward. It was when Angel and her children wanted to carry out their evil plan that the doctor knocked at the door. He and Juliana arrived just in time to stop what was about to happen. Chief Willie would have been dead.

"Hide the poison in your pocket. Everyone should act normal. No one should behave as if we wanted to do anything bad. If we don't succeed today, we will come back tomorrow. All I know is that we will finish what we have started." Angel said to her children. They quickly arranged themselves as if nothing had happened. Angel then opened the door and left with her children without talking to the medical doctor or Juliana. They kept their faces straight as they walked out of the hospital, entered their car and drove away.

"Doctor, please I don't want those people to be allowed access to my husband's hospital ward again. Also, I want my husband's hospital ward to be changed. That woman is dangerous and I believe she came here to do something bad to my husband. I will not stand by and watch her end my husband's life due to her greed. She must be stopped at all costs and I will do whatever it would take to make sure she does not succeed." Juliana said. She was happy that she was there at the time Angel came, if not, it would have been a different story.

"Your orders will be carried out. Also, I advise you to hire a private security to help you keep an eye on Chief Willie. You might not be able to do it alone because you are a woman and you are pregnant. You can see how they were able to push you out of this place. You need help. You need someone strong to stand by you during the time your husband will be recovering from the injuries he sustained from the accident. However, I will tell the nurses to take your husband to a more private and secure ward." The doctor said with concern on his face.

"Thank you doctor. I will do everything possible to protect my husband. I'm sure he will recover. Angel and her children wants him to die but God will not allow that to happen. He will survive this and he will live long to see me give birth to his children." Juliana said with tears in her eyes. The doctor left the place and returned with doctors who carried Chief Willie to another ward. Juliana also followed them. She promised herself that she was not going to leave her husband's side until he has fully recovered.

"But how am I going to do this alone? Like the doctor said, I need help. And I'm pregnant. What if Juliana and her children discover this new ward? What if they come here to push me out again? What am I going to do to protect myself and protect my husband? Since I have money, I will use it to protect my husband, myself and the baby in my womb." Juliana said. She pulled out her phone from her handbag and made some few calls.

Before the accident, Chief Willie had introduced her to some of his friends. She was wise enough to have collected the phone numbers of some of them. She was new in Lagos and she didn't know many people. She just relocated there after her wedding with Chief Willie. She decided to call one of the numbers she collaged a few weeks ago. When she dialed the number, a male voice picked.

"Hello sir, good evening. This is Juliana, Chief Willie's wife. Chief had an accident and I need help urgently. He is lying in the hospital fighting for his life." Juliana said.

"Oh my goodness! I had no idea that such a thing happened. I spoke with him yesterday on the phone. Life is so unpredictable." Chief Willie's friend said on the other end of the phone.

"Please, send me a private investigator, two private security personnel, a bouncer and a lawyer. Most important is the private security men. I want them today. The other people can come tomorrow." Juliana said over the phone.

"They will be on their way soon. I will just make some calls and you will see them in a few hours. Please, I want you to be strong. Nothing will happen to Chief Willie. He is a fighter and he will win this battle as well." The man said.

"Thank you sir, I will be waiting. Thank you for your encouragement." Juliana said. A few hours later, a private investigator and two private security man arrived the hospital. She stationed one security man at the hospital while one followed her wherever she went. However,

the most important task for her is finding out more information about Angel, Chief Willie's first wife. Her husband was not talking, if not, she would have asked him. So, Juliana set this task before the private investigator.

"I want to know everything about Angel. I want to know when she got married to my husband and what led to their separation. I want to know what they want and why she came back after hearing about my husband's accident." Juliana said.

"You will have your answers in 24 hours." The investigator said.

Juliana was tired of staying at the hospital, so she decided to go home that night and rest a little. Her heart was at rest because she had stationed a security man at the hospital ward to protect her husband. However, when she got home, she saw that the entire house was locked. She did not see the security man and all the domestic staff were not there.

"What is happening?" Juliana asked when she tried to open the door to the living room and saw that it has been locked with a different padlock. She was confused. As she stood there wondering what to do, Angel, Chief Willie's first wife came to the veranda from another room.

"I have taken over this building. This house was built by me and my husband. Look for another place and stay. You have no place in this house.

"Angel said.
