Enola Holmes 3 Cast & Plot Revealed as Millie Bobby Brown Movie Begins Production

Netflix has announced the cast and plot details for Enola Holmes 3. The next chapter in the mystery series starring Millie Bobby Brown has begun production in the UK.

Who is in the announced Enola Holmes 3 cast?

Brown reprises her role as Enola Holmes, the young detective and teenage sister of Sherlock Holmes. Bobby Brown continues to be one of Netflix’s biggest stars. The actress is best known for her Emmy-nominated role as Eleven on Stranger Things. Brown has also headlined several Netflix movies, including The Electric State, Damsel, and two Enola Holmes entries.

Many of Brown’s castmates from previous installments are returning for the third movie, including Louis Partridge as Tewkesbury, Himesh Patel as Dr. John Watson, Henry Cavill as Sherlock Holmes, Helena Bonham Carter as Eudoria Holmes, and Sharon Duncan-Brewster as Moriarty.

The official plot details read, “Adventure chases detective Enola Holmes to Malta, where personal and professional dreams collide on a case more tangled and treacherous than any she has faced before.”

Netflix shared a behind-the-scenes photo of Brown and Partridge on set.

Philip Barantini will direct Enola Holmes 3 from a screenplay by Jack Thorne. Barantini and Thorne recently collaborated on Adolescence, the British drama that filmed each episode in one continuous take. Adolescence set viewership records for Netflix and became the streamer’s third most popular English-language TV series of all time.

Thorne has written all three Enola Holmes movies, which are based on the book series by Nancy Springer. Barantini steps into the director’s chair for Harry Bradbeer, who directed the previous two Enola Holmes movies.

Mary Parent, Ali Mendes, and Alex Garcia will produce for Legendary Entertainment. Brown and Bobby Brown will produce under Brown’s production company, PCMA Productions. Executive producers include Jake Bongiovi, Isobel Richards, Joshu Grode, and Michael Dreyer.

Netflix has not announced a release date for Enola Holmes 3.
