Wuthering Heights’ Star Hypes up Margot Robbie & Cast’s ‘Breathtaking’ Performance

The gothic psychological drama feature Wuthering Heights is one of the most anticipated movies of next year. He not only confirmed a piece of crucial information about the production but also lauded the performances of his fellow cast members, including Margot Robbie.

Elordi revealed during an interview with Deadline that the production for Wuthering Heights had “just recently” concluded. He also had high praise for Margot Robbie, who essays the role of Catherine Earnshaw in the movie, and other members of the cast. “The performances from everyone — it’s breathtaking,” the Euphoria actor said, adding, “It’s an incredible romance. It’s a true epic. It’s visually beautiful.”

The Priscilla star also praised writer-director Emerald Fennell’s script as “Beautiful.” He added, “The costumes are incredible.”

Fennell’s Wuthering Heights is a new adaptation of the 1847 novel by Emily Brontë. The book, widely regarded as an English literature classic, has been adapted extensively in films, TV, and other media formats. This includes the 1939 movie, which featured Merle Oberon as Catherine Earnshaw Linton and Laurence Olivier as Heathcliff, and the 1953 BBC telefilm, which had Richard Todd as Heathcliff and Yvonne Mitchell as Cathy in the cast.

The official logline for Fennell’s adaptation reads, “A passionate and tumultuous love story set against the backdrop of the Yorkshire moors, exploring the intense and destructive relationship between Heathcliff and Catherine Earnshaw.” Besides Elordi and Robbie, the cast includes Hong Chau as Nelly, Shazad Latif as Edgar, and Alison Oliver as Isabella. Additionally, Charlotte Mellington plays a younger version of Catherine, whereas Owen Cooper takes on the role of a young Heathcliff. Fennell produced the movie alongside Robbie. It debuts in U.S. theaters on February 13, 2026.
