His attorneyMark Geragostold the judge that his office incorrectly advised the singer that he didn’t need permission to travel but that is not the only issue as Brown was also supposed to complete 1,000 hours of community labour by the end of January but he is still 200 hours short.

In addition, the probation report expressed concern over Sunday’s shooting at a San Jose club in which Brown was on stage when 5 people were injured.
The judge also noted an August 2014 shooting that occurred while Brown was hosting a pre-VMA party at 1OAK in West Hollywood in which several people were shot including Suge Knight .
The probation officer recommended that Brown serve time, saying that the singer has shown ‘a pattern of making choices that are counterproductive.’
As things stand, Chris will remain free until a March 20 hearing when the judge will receive an update from probation officials. Meanwhile, he is scheduled to kick off his ‘Between the Sheets Tour’ with Trey Songzon Jan. 28 in Hampton, VA.
