Premiering on Hulu this coming January, Paradise is a new series that stars Sterling K. Brown, James Marsden, Julianne Nicholson, and more. The show is created by Dan Fogelman.

What happens in the Paradise trailer?
The Paradise trailer introduces Brown’s character, Xavier Collins, as the head of security for former president Cal Bradford. Xavier’s life begins to unravel, however, when Bradford is found dead and he’s the primary suspect. Near the end of the trailer, he’s asked if a part of him is happy that Bradford is dead. While Xavier doesn’t know how to answer, the interrogator, played by Sarah Shahi, shows him her palm, which has the words “SAY YES” written on it.
“Paradise is set in a serene, wealthy community inhabited by some of the world’s most prominent individuals. But this tranquility explodes when a shocking murder occurs and a high-stakes investigation unfolds,” the synopsis for Paradise reads.
Along with the aforementioned cast, Paradise stars Nicole Brydon Bloom, Aliyah Mastin, and Percy Daggs IV. The series is produced by 20th Television and executive produced by Fogelman, Brown, Jess Rosenthal, John Hoberg, John Requa, Glenn Ficarra, and Steve Beers.
Fogelman is best known for creating NBC’s This Is Us, which stars Brown as Randall Pearson. He directed the movies 2015’s Danny Collins and 2018’s Life Itself, while he also wrote the screenplays for 2006’s Cars, 2007’s Fred Claus, 2008’s Bolt, 2011’s Crazy, Stupid, Love, 2012’s The Guilt Trip, and 2013’s Last Vegas. Additionally, he created the television series Like Family, The Neighbors, Galavant, and Pitch, while he’s an executive producer on Only Murders in the Building.
