The Twin Pregnancy Episode Nineteen

Nene was heartbroken as the police continued to detain Fredo even though she knew he was innocent. For many days, she had cried secretly in her room. She had been questioning herself and wondering why she runs into a problem each time a man comes into her life. She wondered if she was cursed.

"Am I cursed? When I got pregnant for Roland, he abandoned me. Even when I endured and gave birth to the babies without support, Roland came and stole the babies and I had to pass through a lot to get them back. Now that I found Fredo who is about getting married to me, he has been framed up and detained over a crime he did not commit. Why is it that my own thing is always different? Why are my enemies bent on making sure that I will never be happy? What have I done to deserve these series of emotionally stressful events? Is it that I will never have my own man?" Nene asked herself while crying in her room.

"But whoever is doing this will fail. Whoever is behind the arrest of Fredo will fail. The person will be arrested and they will face the law. I will still get married to Fredo. He is a good man and no one can stop me from getting married to him." Nene said. Whenever Nene wants to cry, she makes sure she cries inside. She does not want anyone to know that she has some weaknesses. She likes presenting a courageous appearance whenever she is outside so that people would not take advantage of her. When she was done crying, she went out of her room to breastfeed her children.

Later in the day, she made food and took to Fredo at the police station where he was being detained. She prepared fried rice and chicken. She had carefully packed it in a food flask and taken to Fredo.

When she got to the police station, Fredo was brought out by the police officer in charge. He looked happy but Nene knew that in his heart, he was not happy.

"Please, don't worry, you will be out of this place very soon. The police are looking for my aunt. It is believed she was the one who poisoned the corn. I'm suspecting her original intention was to eliminate you because she was jealous of me. But we move, regardless." Nene said to Fredo. Tears wanted to drop from her eyes, but she quickly controlled herself, remembering that she was a strong woman who was not supposed to cry, especially before a man.

"I'm not worried because I know I'm innocent." Fredo said as he started to eat the fried rice aggressively.

As Fredo was eating, suddenly a police van pulled up inside the premises. Everyone looked outside and saw some police officers dragging Nene's aunt into the police station. She looked disheveled and must have been through a lot.

"Good, she has been arrested." Nene said in her heart after she saw her aunt.

After it was discovered that Nene's aunt was the one who boiled the corn that killed Fredo's driver and his entire family, security operatives were sent out to have her apprehended. She had left town and travelled to the village. However, her mobile phone was tracked and the police were able to discover her location and she was arrested.

After she was dragged into the police station,

Nene's aunt was made to sit down on the floor to confess her crimes. She had already confessed to the police, but they also wanted her to say it to Nene and Fredo.

"I'm so sorry for what I did to you Nene. I was just jealous of you. Look at me, I'm approaching 40 years of age without a husband. You are getting married before me, not just to any other man but the president's son. This made me jealous and I wanted to eliminate Fredo through the poisoned corn. I had no idea the driver and his family would be the ones to eat the corn. I had no intention to kill them. Fredo was my target. I feel so bad about my actions. Please, find a place in my heart to forgive me." Ebere said. Nene was dumbfounded and she had no idea what to say. Fredo spoke first.

"Forgive you? No dear, there will be no forgiveness at all. You will pay for this crime. Do you know the damage you have done? You wiped out an entire family. My driver was the only child of his parents. He was their only hope and now, there is no one left to carry on his father's lineage. You are a wicked person and you will pay fully for this crime." Fredo said.

"I can't believe what I'm hearing. I can't believe Nene's aunt was made to sit down on the floor to confess her crimes. She had already confessed to the police, but they also wanted her to say it to Nene and Fredo.

"I can't believe what I'm hearing. I can't believe your roof. I did not know you had an evil agenda against me. Well, I have nothing to say than for the security authorities to do their job." Nene said. Fredo was released and he went home to his family. Ebere was later charged to court and sentenced to life in prison.

Planning and preparation for Nene's wedding resumed in earnest. There were just two days left and everything was set.

"Finally, I'm about to become a married woman. Wow! I can't believe I have overcome every obstacle on my way." Nene said to herself.

Meanwhile, Roland was putting finishing touches to his own plan. He had bought a gun and he planned to attend Nene's wedding with it.

"They think they will get married while I'm alive. Well, I will attend the wedding with this gun. They will see me on that day. I will look into Nene's eyes and eliminate her and Fredo. In her next life, she will never offend someone named Roland. She think she can steal my children and go scot-free. No way! She will pay dearly for it." Roland said as he oiled the gun in preparation for his plan.
