“Feature Me And Your Career Will Blow Again”- Portable Advice Runtown

Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has offered career advice to fellow artist Douglas Jack Agu, better known as Runtown.

During a recent interview with Quincy Jonze, Portable addressed various topics, including remarks made by Peller, who referred to Runtown as an “upcoming musician.” While Portable stated that he did not agree with Peller’s comment, he also expressed his disapproval of Runtown’s current approach to his career.

The “Zazu” crooner questioned why Runtown had taken a step back from making music and suggested that collaborating with him on a song could help reignite Runtown’s fame.

According to Portable, despite Runtown’s past collaborations with Wizkid, the latter remains consistently relevant because of his continuous efforts in the industry.

Portable advised Runtown to put in more work if he wants to remain in the spotlight and avoid being forgotten by fans.

In his words:

“I’m against what Peller said, but I’m also against Runtown. Why is he not singing again? Why is he no longer dropping hits? Tell him to come and feature me, tell him to give me verse, he will blow, work hard. I know Runtown, even if when I was under the bridge, I used to listen to his music. Why are we no longer hearing Runtown, shebi he featured Wizkid that time? We still listen to Wizkid till tomorrow. Work hard bro if you don’t want them to forget you.”
