EPL: Not sure he has future at Chelsea – Maresca reveals player that could leave
Chelsea head coach, Enzo Maresca has said he is unsure Ben Chilwell has a future at Stamford Bridge.
Chilwell has made just one appearance for the Blues in the League Cup so far this season.
The England left back has a contract at Stamford Bridge that runs until 2027,
“No idea, to be honest,” Maresca said during his pre-match press conference ahead of the Blues’ trip to Crystal Palace on Saturday.
“It’s the January transfer window and there are players who are probably going to leave, but not sure at the moment.”
Chilwell has been linked with a move to Chelsea’s rivals Manchester United in the past.
