Euro 2024: Roberto Martinez lists six teams that could win trophy
Head coach of Portugal’s national team, Roberto Martinez has listed six teams that could win the Euro 2024 title.
The Spanish tactician listed the likes of France, England, Italy, Germany, Spain and Portugal as the favourite to win the 2024 Euro.
Italy are currently the defending champions after winning the competition four years ago.
Speaking with AS, Martinez said:
“There are several teams that have players who are used to fighting for all the titles: France, England, Italy, Germany, Spain, Portugal.
“We cannot ignore them… gives us our responsibility to be in that lot.”
Portugal is in Group F alongside the Czech Republic, Georgia and Turkey.
