After sharing his heartfelt “Alone“, YG goes loco with the flow on his latest track, “Maniac”.
Directed by Matt Zolly, the sinister music video finds the Compton rapper creeping through the night in L.A. There, he rides through the city in his Chevy convertible and gathers on the rooftop filled with fire, rain, his crew, and a plethora of eye-candy. “The way I met hoes, I should be sponsored by Apple / Fuck all the opps, pop they tops like Snapples,” he raps over the Hit-Boy, Terrace Martin, and Corbett-produced track. “The shooters wanna slide, you know I’ll cover the travel / In the city, I’m a nigga, bitch, put up a statue / I got rich and started sending hitters at you.”
“Maniac” is the latest offering off YG’s upcoming album, I Got Issues, dropping September 30. It features a star-studded line up of guest including Nas, J.Cole, Moneybagg Yo, Roddy Ricch, Post Malone, Mozzy, and more.
