“I came to your house to snatch your husband but he refused to be snatched. Instead, he slept with me and turned me into a househelp.” I said to Gold.

The shame of living and working as a househelp in my friend’s house was too much for me. Everyday, I kept telling Gold that I just wanted to help her but the burden in my heart became too much. I watched plates, cleaned the house every morning and there is always fear in my heart. I could not even call anyone to tell them what I was going through because I was afraid. In fact, my phone is not even with me, because Gold’s husband seized it from me.

When the shame became too much for me, I decided to confess to Gold. I decided that I will approach Gold and confess everything to her. I will tell her how I planned to come to her house and snatch her husband. I will seek her forgiveness and promise her that I would never do such a thing a gain. Above all, I will tell her to beg her husband to allow me to leave.

“But going to confess is even very shameful. The compound is always under security and there is no way for me to escape. The fence around the house is too high, if not, I would climbed it and ran away since. But they are always watching me. It is better for me to confess to Gold and seek her help. Why did you turn yourself into the housemaid?” Gold asked.

“Yes, it’s true that you have asked me the question when you saw me washing plates in the kitchen, but shame did not allow me to tell you what happened. I did something very terrible and I felt like I should serve my punishment. However, the whole thing is getting tiring and I need your help. Gold, please, I want to go back to my house. I’m tired of washing plates in your house, but I have been afraid to say it. Please, can you help me?” I asked with tears in my eyes.

“I can help you once you tell me what’s going on,” Gold said. I sat down beside her and started talking. I decided to tell her the whole truth because I know only the truth can save me. I have tried using my sweet honey to save myself but I did not succeed, so now is the time to tell the truth.

“I came here to snatch your husband but he slept with me and turned me into a househelp. The truth is that I was the one who wanted him to sleep with me. I wanted to use my sweet honey to trap him but he ended up trapping me. He taught me a serious lesson and threatened to eliminate me. He said he would only spare me under one condition. He said I must become a househelp in his house. That is why I’m here washing plates today, but please, I want to be released. I want to go home,” I said while still crying.

I waited for a while to watch how Gold would react to the confession, but I was surprised that she said nothing. She was just watching me as if she already knew what I was talking about. Anyway, I continued making my confession.

“I wanted your home to be broken, that was why the first day I came, I started telling you that your husband is old. I wanted you to start thinking of leaving him so that he would become mine. But things did not work the way I wanted. However, I opened my legs for your husband he saw my thing. He took me to the bedroom and slept with me. I decided to let you know that it is not every husband that you can snatch. You cannot snatch my own. However, I’m happy now that you have learned your lessons. I was the one who told my husband to turn you into a househelp in my house. I wanted to let you know that you are nothing if I decide to deal with you. But now that you have confessed, I will release you,” Gold said.

What Gold said shocked me. Her husband entered the room and confirmed everything she said. That evening, I was released. When I left the compound, I ran and never looked back. Never in my life will I try to snatch another woman’s husband.
