Once upon a time, in a very quiet village far away, there lived a young girl named Linda. This village was a place where the air was sweet and the trees were always green. However, life was not easy for everyone there. Linda’s family was very poor.
They did not have big houses or fancy things. What they had was a small hut made of mud and a lot of love for each other. Linda’s parents were the hardest workers in the whole village. Every single morning, before the big yellow sun could even wake up, her father was already out in the fields. Her mother would follow him soon after.
They worked on big farms that belonged to other people. They worked under the very hot sun that made their skin feel like it was burning.
They did this hard work just to earn a little money. They did not spend the money on nice clothes for themselves. They did not spend it on good shoes. Instead, they saved every single penny they could. They had one big dream.
They wanted to send Linda to the university. They wanted her to have a better life than they had. They wanted her to sit in a cool office instead of working under the hot sun.
