My name is Ebube. 10 years ago, I abandoned my boyfriend and married a rich man. I broke his heart. The rich man was older than me by 40 years. I was just 20 years and the man was 60 years old. I married him because he has money and he lived in America. My boyfriend’s name is Fred and he was just 20 years old as well. We were in our final year in the university when I dumped him and married Chief Amata who is a billionaire living in America. It was difficult for me but I decided to chose money over love. I did not love Chief Amata but I loved his money.
I did not feel anything emotional for him. I married him because he is rich and he promised to take me abroad. Our wedding was the talk of the town. Rich people attended. After our wedding, Chief Amata built a big house for my parents and started paying school fees of my younger ones. I did not love him but I loved the fact that he was helping my family. I was the first child in a family of seven children.
But now, I’m a sad woman. I’m just a 30-year-old beautiful lady stock with an old man who just clocked 70. He gives me all the material things I want but I don’t feel anything for him. I now hate him with passion. We live in America with our three beautiful children who are American citizens. I have also become an American citizen but I’m a sad woman. I don’t feel loved. No matter all I do to love my husband, all I feel for him is hatred.
