Pooja, a very beautiful Indian damsel just arrived in Nigeria from India. She came with her two children to look for her husband, Igwe. Igwe is missing. He has been missing for six months now. Igwe is a Nigerian who lived in India for more than ten years. It was in India that he met Pooja. They fell in love, got married and bore four children. Six months ago, Igwe travelled to Nigeria from India. He said he was coming to see his mother who was sick. However, he did not return to India as planned. Pooja has waited for a long time for her husband he did not return. All his numbers were switched off. Even the numbers of Igwe’s relatives were switched off.
“I call my husband every day but has number has failed to connect since the past six months. I keep wondering what happened to him. He left me and his children in India and came to Nigeria. He said he was coming to see his mother but six months has passed. I called all the numbers I have but none of his relatives are picking up. I don’t know what is happening. I love my husband so much and his children love him. That is why we are in Nigeria to look for him. I’m going to trace the address he gave to me when we got married in India many years ago. I will go to his village to see if he is there. My husband cannot just disappear like a spirit,” Poojah said. She pulled her children into a taxi. They drove out of the Lagos airport and head to a hotel.
“Let us just rest at the hotel this night. Tomorrow, I and my children will travel to Eastern Nigeria where Igwe’s village is located. I must find my husband. He is the love of my life and I can never leave him.
