The Gen Z Housemaid

Episode Two

Jane knows the game she is playing. She knows it is vey difficult for a man to resist a woman in the bedroom. She knows that if Chief Okolo looks at her, he will not be able to take off his eyes. She knows the old man has not touched a woman for a long time. She knows he is hungry for a woman’s tender touch. She knows she will get what she wants.

“I will get what I want. He cannot resist me. I’m like a ripe banana waiting to be plucked. I’m like a fresh apple that just fell before him. He will soon pick the apple and eat. I will secure his heart and even make him to leave his wife and take care of me. I will become more than a housemaid.” Jane said as she waited for Chief Okolo in his bed. The old man was still thinking of weather he should eat the sweet apple placed before him or if he should gather courage and reject it.

Chief Okolo sat on the edge of his bed that night and kept looking at Jane. She was lying there without shame. Her young body was shining under the bright light. His heart was beating fast as if he just pursued an antelope.

“This food looks delicious. Should I eat it? What if my wife wakes up and catches me? What if people hear that I slept with the housemaid? But this lady is as fresh as today’s bread. Can I resist the fresh bread?” He said in his mind. But his eyes refused to leave Jane. He felt confused. He felt weak. The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.

“Can I resist her tonight?” He asked himself. He was trying hard to resist the strong temptation.

“My wife has neglected me. She is always busy at the bank. She no longer satisfies me in the bedroom. I have been lonely for many years. Deborah only cares about money and her job. She comes home late and sleeps off quickly. But here is Jane, young and ripe like banana. How can I spit out the sugar she is putting inside my mouth?” He asked himself.

“If she cannot cook in the kitchen, she must surely be good in the other room.” He said inside himself. Jane was still waiting.

“Chief, what are you waiting for? I told you I will not disappoint you. I may not know how to fry eggs, but I know how to give you a different kind of food. Please, don’t sack me. I need this job.” She touched his hand gently. Chief shivered like a hen that was beaten by heavy rain.

“Jane, do you know what you are saying? Do you know the trouble you can cause in this house if my wife finds out?” He asked. Jane smiled confidently.

“No woman can catch me. I know how to handle things. I will handle everything stylishly like a conning cat. Your wife will never know. And you know, this kind of secret enjoyment used to be very nice.” She said.

“Jane, you are playing with fire.” He said.

“Chief, don’t be afraid. I am young and strong. I will make you feel like a young man again.” Chief could no longer control himself. That night, he touched Jane. Jane responded with skills. She gave him different actions and styles until he was sweating.

“Jane, did you learn this in school? It’s like you are a professional in this field. You are not good in the kitchen but you are good in another thing. Thank you for giving me this type of food.” Chief Okolo said.

“I told you that you will enjoy yourself. Are you still going to allow your wife to sack me?” Jane asked.

“Sack you for what? Instead of my wife to sack you, I will sack her.” Chief Okolo said.

When morning came, Deborah woke up early. She went to the kitchen and opened the plate of eggs Jane fried the previous day. She tasted it and almost vomited.

“What kind of nonsense is this? This egg is terrible. I cannot allow such a housemaid to stay here.” Chief Okolo’s wife said. She called Jane to the sitting room.

“Jane, pack your things and leave my house immediately. You cannot cook. Yesterday you almost killed my husband with salt and pepper. Today I have tasted the egg myself and it is terrible. We don’t need you anymore.” Deborah said.

Jane started begging.

“Madam, please, don’t sack me. I will learn. I will do better. Please forgive me. I need this job. I have nowhere to go.” She said.

“No, Jane. You are not useful to me. I don’t need someone who will be learning in my house. I need someone who knows what to do. Carry your bag and go back to wherever you came from.” She said.

Before Jane could continue begging, Chief Okolo entered the sitting room.

“Deborah, leave Jane alone. She will not go anywhere. She will continue working here.” Chief Okolo said. His wife was shocked.

“What are you saying, my husband? Yesterday you said I should sack her immediately because she cannot cook. Why are you changing your mind this morning?” She asked with surprise.

“Yes, I said that yesterday. But last night she cooked another food for me, and I enjoyed it very much. She must stay. I want to continue eating that type of food.” The Chief said.
