My hand was raised defensively over my head as I approached the helicopter as if an arm was going to stop the massive propeller from eating whatever the hell it wanted. Its spinning blades were whirling, whipping everything around it into a frenzy with its artificial wind while roaring so loud that I could barely hear myself think. No wonder chopper pilots and passengers wore headgear.
As I neared the cabin door, Jonathan—the bodyguard I’d sent with Erin and Natashya—opened it to let me inside and closed it as soon as I stepped in. It left me in relative silence compared to the chaos outside the door. I’d been in this helicopter a few times already, but how soundproof the aircraft was still startled me.
I wasn’t the first one on the chopper. Besides three security agents buckled into place in the back of the helicopter, Erin was sitting at the small conference table in the middle of the main cabin, typing on her phone as she sat crisscrossed applesauce in her seat. She looked up from her phone and gave me a sad smile, and I had a sneaking suspicion I knew what she was doing.
“How is she?” I asked as I dropped into the seat next to her.
“Don’t worry about it,” she said.
“No,” I pushed back. “Erin, you’re not a wall for me to dive for cover behind whenever things get hard. I did this to her, and I shouldn’t hide from it.”
Erin stared at me in silence for several beats, an unreadable expression in her eyes. Then she glanced back down at her phone and started typing again. “We did this,” she said. “This is just as much my mess as yours. Maybe more. I knew how she was before you met. I misjudged.”
“I’m glad you brought her into my life, Erin,” I said. “I just wish we were both in the same place emotionally. If I never see her again, I’ll be sad, but I don’t regret the time I spent with her, no matter how much it hurt to let her go.”
Erin nodded. “I know. I think this one will take some time to heal, though. Who knows… given enough time, maybe you guys will end up on the same page after all.”
I grunted, sunk further into my seat, and stared at my feet. “I feel like I just lost a close friend. It hurts.”
“Yeah,” Erin said. Then I felt her slender fingers slip into my hand and squeeze it. “Hey, Marcus?” I looked up at her. There was no mischievous grin, playful banter, or glint of lust in those eyes as she stared back at me. Just deep care and concern. “I’m not going anywhere, okay?”
It was a simple statement, but something about the look in her eyes and the fervor in how she said it… I just… knew. Those words were laced with more than a simple declarative statement. It was a promise, an oath. It was something deeper than a simple employee/employer relationship—although, if I were being honest, this was hardly a simple employee/employer relationship to begin with.
“You can’t know that for sure,” I said.
“Yeah, I can,” she said, a soft smile playing about her lips.
We stared at each other for a long moment, her soft grin daring me to challenge her words while I tried to divine what she meant by that. Finally, I simply asked, “Why?”
Erin opened her mouth to say something, and at that very moment, the helicopter door opened, and Helen entered the helicopter, followed by Bobbi. Erin slipped her hand free of mine before anyone had a chance to notice.
“Oh. Good. We’re not the last ones to arrive,” Helen said, taking a seat opposite Erin. “How are you doing?”
“I’ll be fine,” I said, giving Erin another glance to see she’d returned to her phone to give Danni the emotional support she needed. “I think getting away for the weekend will do me some good.”
Helen gave me a small, closed-lip smile, her blue eyes sparkling as she said, “I’m sure it will, though you might need some time to recover afterward. Erin’s packed all sorts of fun things for the trip.” She glanced over at Bobbi, who was still standing near the door, awkwardly looking around at the seats. She was wearing a simple blouse and a pair of denim pants and had her hair pulled out of her face with a simple hair clip. The collar around her neck stood out in stark contrast to the rest of the outfit. It still displayed ‘Helen’s Little Whore.’
Helen patted the one beside her, and the submissive complied with the unspoken command. “I intend to wring this one completely dry this weekend,” she said as Bobbi sat beside her. She reached up and placed a finger under the younger woman’s chin, directing the submissive to look up at her just in time for their lips to press together in a soft, sensual kiss that went on for several seconds.
When their lips finally parted, she continued, “Mmm… you’ll need all next week to recover, pet. How does that sound?”
Bobbi licked her lips, her eyes searching her mistress’ face intently for several moments before she whispered, “That sounds nice.”
Helen arched a single eyebrow, and the grip on Bobbi’s chin tightened slightly. A sound so soft I almost missed it escaped the submissive’s throat. “That sounds nice,” Bobbi repeated, “Mistress.”
The helicopter door opened, and Helen smiled and wrapped an arm around Bobbi, pulling the young woman’s head into her bosom and kissing the top of her head. “Good girl,” I barely heard the dominant blonde mutter into her pet’s hair.
Natashya and Emily entered the helicopter, and the door shut behind them. My gaze caught Natashya’s, and we shared a knowing smile as I recalled the hour or so we’d shared in my study. Her juices had dried on my dick, and I’d not taken the opportunity to remove her fluids. Seeing Bobbi gave me the idea of having her lick my member clean of the dancer’s dried fluids, which sent blood rushing to it again despite having just emptied two loads into my sister’s girlfriend. God… would I ever be able to satisfy that fucking monster between my legs?
My view of Natashya was suddenly blocked as Emily dropped into the seat next to me, with Natashya filling the chair on the other side of my sister. I watched as she buckled herself in, and then she looked at me, her light gray eyes appraising me as she combed some of her brown hair out of her face and tucked it behind her ear.
“I talked to Bobbi,” she said quietly, leaning in close so that I was the only one to hear what she said. This close, I could detect the cinnamon and honeysuckle from one of her favorite lotions. It was a comforting scent that engendered a sense of nostalgia.
“And?” I whispered, searching her face for any sign of an answer.
She looked at Bobbi, who was still lying on Helen’s chest. The submissive’s eyes were closed as Helen stroked her cheek idly with a few fingernails. The collar around her neck could have been spotted a mile away.
After what felt like an eternity, Emily finally looked back at me and gave me a tight-lipped smile—the first I’d seen from her in days. “We’re fine.”
That was it? No explanation about what was said? No admission that she’d been wrong? Just… ‘we’re fine?’ My dissatisfaction with the answer must have been obvious because Emily leaned in and pecked me on the cheek before saying softly, “Don’t worry about it, Marcus. We’re fine.”
I was still curious as hell about what Bobbi had said to Emily to put my sister’s mind at ease. The look in her eyes was the only thing keeping me from pressing the issue, so I decided to make sure we wouldn’t have problems on another front. “Congratulations on the new relationship,” I said.
“Thanks,” she responded, her smile growing a little wider. “It’s… I didn’t expect it.” She glanced at Natashya and I saw the dancer bite her lip as she looked back at my sister. “I think this is gonna be a good thing, though,” Emily whispered, leaning back close to me.
“Em… Natashya and I…”
“I know,” Emily said. She straightened, and the warmth I felt from her moments ago retreated a little. It didn’t disappear entirely, but it felt… strained.”
“Okay. Good,” I said, the elastic band around my chest that I hadn’t realized was there suddenly loosening as I felt relief. “I just—”
“Can we just not talk about it?” She asked. “I let her do it. Can we just leave it there?”
Had Natashya acquired permission to fuck me by backing Emily in a corner? I glanced at my sister’s lover, who was no longer watching us. Instead, she chose to look anywhere but in our direction, obviously giving us the space we needed to talk privately. At the time, I was happy to take Natashya’s word for it that the arrangement was good, but looking back… I’d just wanted to fuck her. While I didn’t think Natashya would lie to me, she did have a little bit of a manipulative streak. “Are you sure you’re okay with it? Natashya made it seem…”
“Seriously,” Emily said, grabbing my hand, slipping her fingers into mine, and squeezing it tight. “We’re good. I just don’t want to discuss what happened between my girlfriend and brother. Okay?” She gave me a genuine smile. “And I’m sorry… for the other day.”
I shook my head. “It’s no problem, Em. After everything with Vegas and Natashya, I understand why… I’m just glad we’re okay. I love you.” I squeezed her hand back.
“I love you too,” Emily sighed and rested her head on my shoulder. “I never expected my life to take a turn like this.”
“You and me both,” I said, looking around the room at the five ladies accompanying me to my vacation home. Emily—my adopted sister and one of my closest friends who knew me longer and better than anyone else. Natashya—the wild dancer who had a truly unbreakable spirit. Bobbi—my former co-worker, broken by self-hatred and being rebuilt into something I wasn’t even sure I understood. Helen—my first lover in my new life who had paved the way for so many experiences. Erin—my rock and quite possibly one of the most important people in my life.
What was in store for us next? What adventures awaited us that only limitless resources could buy? What sensual designs did my assistant and lawyer have in store for me? What would Bobbi continue to develop into? How long would Natashya and Emily be able to maintain a monogamous relationship?
“Everyone here?” a familiar, gruff voice asked, cutting through my thoughts.
And when the hell was I going to fuck a smile on the stoic beauty peering at us through the doorway to the front of the helicopter?
Chloe’s gaze settled on me and said, “We’re ready for takeoff whenever you are?”
I studied her beautiful, freckled face a few moments longer than necessary, and she met my eyes with that soul-piercing stare of her own, daring me to try to read her thoughts.
“Yeah,” I said. “Take off.”
Chloe nodded, glanced at mine and Emily’s clasped hands, and then said, “Alright.” Then she was gone.
I glanced back at Erin and caught her watching me, a small smile on her face despite the emotional task she was currently undertaking. I smiled back at her as I reached out and brushed a bit of silver hair out of her face. She bit her lip and then returned to her phone, typing furiously.
I leaned my head back against the headrest of the helicopter and closed my eyes. It had been a long night with Helen, Erin, and Bobbi, and I hadn’t exactly achieved my eight hours. I’d also been through emotional hell over the last couple of days. A little nap on the way out there wasn’t out of order. I leaned my head against Emily’s as she rested on my shoulder, and before a minute passed, I drifted off.
Friday 3:33 pm
“Marcus?”
The room around me shifted, forcing my head to roll back and forth as I started to reemerge into consciousness. Blinking away the sleep from my eyes, I took a few minutes to piece back together what was going on.
Helicopter. Catskills. Emily and Natashya. Danni…
I broke it off with Danni.
And then it all came back to me as I sat up straight in my chair. “What?” I asked sleepily.
I felt fingers squeeze my shoulder and looked to my left to see Erin looking like she had just awakened. “We’re almost there,” she said.
Bobbi and Helen were both passed out, but Natashya, Emily, Erin, and I craned our necks as we stared out the window of the three-dimensional landscape of the Catskill mountains. It was a rolling tempest of verdant waves with occasional evidence of humanity broken over its surface. I’d never been out here, but even if I had, I would have never seen a place like this from the angle we were viewing it from. It was gorgeous.
Suddenly, the door opened, and Chloe walked halfway into the room. “Murray! Billings! Hopper! Five minutes out. Look sharp. We’ve got company.”
“Wait,” I said. “What’s going on?”
“There’s someone down there,” Chloe said.
“At my grandfather’s place?”
Chloe nodded.
“No idea who it is?”
Chloe shook her head. “Want to turn around?”
I thought about it for about half a second. “I’d like to continue, but if you feel it’s too much of a risk, we can head back. I don’t want to risk anyone’s life.” I’d had too many guns in my face and powerful men threaten me to not take security seriously anymore.
My head of security peered out the window, looking deep in thought. Finally, she said, “We can keep going, but I’m going to need you all to remain on the chopper until we can verify their identity and what they’re doing.”
“We can do that,” I said.
“Good deal.” She looked at the other three members of the security detail and gave them a nod before disappearing back into the helicopter’s cockpit. The agents were already on their feet, preparing to disembark. Helen and Bobbi were now awake and asking what was going on. Erin filled them in. I looked back out the window and watched the trees slowly grow in size as the helicopter began descending toward my grandfather’s property.
Who the hell was in my house?
