The Strength of a Woman Episode Eight

The gang sent to eliminate Chief Willie did not know where the village is located. They watched the video posted by Juliana and analyzed it over and over again without being able to locate where the village is. They called Angel and told her they cannot locate the village and that they have decided to call off the mission. They even went to a village near Lagos but they failed to find Juliana and Chief Willie. Angel was sad, so she decided to double the money she was supposed to pay the gang.

"I will double the money. If you are able to find that village and eliminate these two people for me, you will get N20 million. Money is not the problem. Just do this job for me accurately. I promise to reward you greatly. I have money and I will give you any amount you mention.

Just find them and finish them off. I don't want them to come back to this house. I have a lot to lose if these two people stay alive. Please, I'm begging you, find them and eliminate them. Do whatever it would take to accomplish this task. You will be fully rewarded." Angel tells the gang leader.

"Madam, we have tried, but we don't know the village. Had it been you mentioned the name of the village, then the job would have been easier for us, but you did not mention the address. We have tried our best and we have decided to stop here before police will arrest us." The gang leader said to Angel. She was livid with anger. She knows that time was running out and she cannot afford to wait.

"I will get another gang to do the job for me." Angel said angrily. She picked up her phone and called a friend who knows many gangs. Her friend recommended one assassin for her.

"He is a one man gang. He does not work with people. I'm promising you that this one can do the job perfectly. This one is meticulous and highly professional. All you have to do is to pay him well. He will deliver. Just trust me." Angel's friend said over the phone. She was happy when the recommended assassin visited the house and concluded the price.

"You will pay N20 million. Consider the job done once the money is in my account." The man said.

"Money is not the problem." Angel said as she transferred the money to him. She showed the man the video on Facebook. The man was more professional and meticulous just as Angel's friend promised.

The man looked at the video once and saw that Juliana included her location in the post she made. She had included the name of the village in her hashtag. The other gang didn't see it because most of them were not educated.

"I know the village. It's not even far." The assassin said. He picked up his car keys and started driving to the village. He got there in the evening. The next problem was for him to locate the particular compound where the bonesetter lives.

"I know what to do. I will ask people to show me the bonesetter's house. I will claim that I have dislocated my leg. I will claim that I want him to heal my leg. Then in the middle of the night, will kill Chief Willie and Juliana and I will escape before the villagers will wake up." The man said as he was driving into the village. It didn't take long before someone showed him the way to the bonesetter's house. He drove there straight.

Immediately he drove into the compound, he saw Juliana and Chief Willie lying on the bamboo bed outside the hut.

"I feel like finishing them off now, but let me wait. The villagers might catch me if I try it. Let me go with my plan and wait until everyone is asleep. Then I will eliminate them." The man said. He drove into the compound and asked Juliana about the bonesetter. Juliana was polite to him. She had no idea that the man she was talking to was sent to kill her and her husband.

"The bonesetter is in his hut over there." Juliana tells the man.

"Okay! I had an accident many years ago. I broke my leg. Although, the thing has healed, but it comes back to disturb me sometimes. Someone recommended this place to me. Please, is the man good?" The assassin asked. He was showing Juliana his legs.

"He is very good o! When we came here, my husband was not talking but he is now talking. The man is very good. I'm sure he will heal your leg." Juliana said. The man started walking towards the hut where the bonesetter was. He got there and saw the man in his hut. He was given a bamboo bed just like others.

"It is a small problem. I can fix your leg for you. However, we have to scatter your leg again. The person who did it the first time didn't do a nice job. I will use iron to scatter your leg and then I will arrange it back. Please, lie down here. Let me go and bring my iron." The bonesetter said as he entered his hut.

"No sir! Please, if it is that type, I don't want. Why would you scatter my leg before joining it again? Please, let me go back to the city." The assassin said. He wanted to stand up and leave the place, but two hefty men who used to assist the bonesetter were already there, holding him tightly against the bed. Fortunately, he left his gun in his car. There was no escape for him.

"Why do you want to go now? That is how I work. I have to do a fresh job. I have to scatter the leg and redo it." The bonesetter said. He had already lifted the iron to hit the assassin's leg.

"Please sir, don't hit me. I'm not here because of my leg. I don't have any leg problems. I will say the truth." The assassin said.
