The Twin Pregnancy Episode 21

Nene's wedding to Fredo was the talk of the town. Radio, newspapers and television stations focused on it for the whole week. The wedding day was like a carnival as many dignitaries were in attendance. Nene was the happiest woman on earth on that day.

Nene looked so beautiful in her wedding dress and Fredo was so happy that he was able to capture a queen like Nene and convinced her to marry him. It was a court wedding and it was brief. The main invent was the reception. The reception venue was so beautiful such that Nene could not believe her eyes when she and her husband arrived. They took their seats and the event began in earnest.

There was a lot of eating and drinking, music and dance. It was a day of great happiness for both Nene and Fredo.

"Finally, we are husband and wife. I'm so happy this came to pass. I'm the happiest man on earth. I'm now a married man and a husband to a beautiful woman. Not just a beautiful woman but a woman who has a very strong heart. I bless the day I met you. I pray that our marriage will be blessed and that it will bring us a lot of good fortune." Fredo said to Nene.

"If someone told me I would marry the president's son, I would have said the person is mad. I mean, about a year ago, I was pregnant and stranded. I was without a man to help me. I was trying to see how I could survive alone. But look at me today. I have become someone's wife. Not just a wife to anyhow man but to the son of the president. I think I'm the most blessed woman on earth." Nene said to Fredo with a beautiful smile on her face.

"Apart from being blessed, you are also hardworking. I think you deserve everything good because even when the world abandoned you, you refused to abandon yourself. When everyone laughed at you for getting pregnant in secondary school, you refused to laugh at yourself. When young girls were staying idle, you chose to work hard. I think you are an epitome of what a good wife should be. I'm very lucky to have you as my wife." Fredo said. Their conversation was getting long as they took the time to appreciate each other.

"No Fredo, vou don't understand. I think I'm the "No Fredo, you don't understand. I think I'm the luckiest person on earth. I made series of mistakes as a young person. My life would have been wasted because of the mistakes I made. I'm from a poor background but I have become popular because of my babies and also because of you. I want to thank you for giving me such a big opportunity to be your wife. I'm grateful Fredo and I promise to be a good wife to you. I will be humble, respectful, and hardworking so that I and you can work together to raise a family." Nene said. They hugged each other tenderly under the party light. Soon, it was time for them to cut the wedding cake and they were called out to the wedding arena.

The wedding cake was so big such that when it was mounted on the table, it was even bigger and taller than Nene and Fredo. They just stood behind the cake with their well wishers. They grabbed the knife and and were about to cut the cake when sound of gunshots rented the wedding reception venue.

It was Roland who released the gunshots. Soon, people could see him in the wedding arena as he held his gun and pointed it at Nene and Fredo. Many people ran away after hearing the gunshots. Roland was dressed in army uniform which was why he was able to gain access into the wedding venue without being stopped by the security personnel stationed outside the gates.

"Hold it there! So the two of you think I will not be here? You think you will get married and be happy and I should go and languish in pain? No way! I'm going to show the two of you the different between Egbe and Egbe." Fredo said. He released more gunshots into the air and many more people took to to their heels and ran away from the wedding venue.

"You took my children away from me. I got you pregnant but you have denied me access to my children. I want my children and I will let you be. But so far as you want to carry my children and give to another man, you shall never know peace. I will continue to torment you until you are no more." Roland said aggressively.

"You are a loser Roland and there's nothing you can do to me. You are also a coward who got me pregnant and abandoned me. You never cared about the children and me. It was when you heard that I gave birth that you came to claim the children." Nene said courageously.

Even before Fredo would talk, Nene stepped forward and confronted Roland.

"Everyone, look at this man. He is a coward. He can't do anything to me because even as a woman, I'm more courageous than him. He got me pregnant and ran away. I was even his student in secondary school and he got me pregnant. Imagine such a shameless man. He was older than me by many years, and I was supposed to be under his care as his student. But instead of caring for me and teaching me, he got me pregnant. Who knows how many other students he got pregnant? Such a shameless man. Such a coward. Such a spinless man. Such a vegetable that calls himself a human being. Such crab that calls himself a human being. Such an ant that calls himself a human being. The only thing that makes you a man is that short cucumber in- between your legs. Yes people, his cucumber is very short. It is one of the reasons I refused to marry him because I can't be living with a man with such a small cucumber." Nene said. People were surprised at her courage. She was standing face to face with Roland. She used words to finish him and he became powerless and embarrassed.

"Watch your tongue Nene. If not, I will prove to you that I'm the man who got you pregnant." Roland said. His voice was no longer strong because Nene had used mouth to finish him.

"Common shut up your mouth. So, if they are calling men now, you will come out? You are not a man. You just donated your liquid gold to me to use and get pregnant. That's all! Apart from that, you are good for nothing. Give me the gun!" Nene ordered Roland. People were watching to see what would happen next. To their surprise, Roland obeyed her and gave her the gun. She then called on security agents and Roland was arrested.

"In your next world, think twice before trying to stand in my way because I will defeat you a thousand times. I'm not like other women, I'm Nene and I'm deferent." Nene said. People who were still there started clapping for her. It was like she charmed Roland and made him powerless. He just stood their like a tree and he was arrested.

"This kind of courage was exactly why I married you. I'm proud of you Nene." Fredo said as he hugged her. They went on to live happily ever after.
