Read Story: SEASON 1 EPISODE 5
On a Saturday morning, Michael and George are in the kitchen, the former is cooking while the latter is sitting on the table talking.
“When will I finally show my face again to the public” George said, Michael turned to look at his friend and shook his head.
“Until when we are sure you are safe, is better to confuse them because just yesterday, I re-ad a news on the Internet, some said you are alive, some said you are dead, some said you un-dergo surgery, facial one, it’s better to put them in the dark than enlighten them. That why I insist you should stay in the inner office and do you work as the CEO, I don’t wanna lose you, even your kids don’t either, so plea-se let’s stay safe okay” Michael finished explaining and turned back to the food he was cooking.
“Hmmmmmm…. That’s true and correct though, thank you so much what will I have done without you” George said, c@m£ down from where he was sitting and back hvgged Michael.
“Nothing or let’s just say a little, you would have been dead a long time ago” Michael replied, George hit him on the head and dis£ngage from the hvg.
“Ouch!!! But seriously George you gatto be careful and s-en-sitive okay” Michael said as he turned off the cooker and brou-ght some plate to dish the meal.
“I will, thank you” George replied smiling. “So where are our babies??”He added.
“They should still be slee-ping, they sle-pt late, they were watching cartoons” Michael answered, as both he and George set the table.
“And they didn’t f0rç£ you to sit with them” George asked with a raised eye brow.
“Ofcourse they did, but I fell asleep, Ashley woke me up and said I should go to be-d, I was even surprised but I gladly went, so that she won’t change her mind” Michael said and they both laughed. Michael stood at the bu-ttom of the stairs and shouted for the kids to come down to eat, after some minutes they all c@m£ out still with their pajamas. They exchanged greetings.
“Gosh!!! Uncle must you shout!” Alexa said after sitting down beside Ashley who was just smiling.
“It’s too early” Adrian complained, Michael and George were just watching the kids.
“C’mon
it not Uncle’s fault, its dad’s” Ashley said.
“Baby whay did you say so? I didn’t do anything” George asked.
“Well, you should have come to wake us up, because am sure it was uncle that cooked and you did nothing, right??” Ashley accused her dad.
“Well, yeah okay I am sorry okay” George said, she nodded, they all began to eat in silence, when they were throu-gh, Alexa was washing plates, Adrian and Ashley were still sitting on their chairs, Michael was drying the plates while George was on his phone, he was sitting on a chair in between the kitchen and the dinning.
“Dad???” Ashley called.
“Yes, baby” George answered looking up.
“godfather is loving, caring and a good cook right??” She asked.
“Yes, that’s true” Her dad answered, turning his graze back to his phone.
“And this qualities are that of a good wife right??” She asked again and this question got every one looking at her.
“Yeah, it is, just that your godfather is a man and not a woman” George said.
“Dad am not dumb, I know godfather is a boy” Ashley said rolling her eyes, which didn’t escape her dad’s notice.
“Wow!!! What an eyes roll??” George said smiling. Every one was still looking and wondering what Ashley was up to.
“Don’t worry I will teach you, yeah back to what I was saying, Dad why can’t you marry godfather??”Ashley said.
“What!?” Dad shouted.
“Jeez!!! Yuck!” Alexa grimaced.
“Ewww!!!”Adrian said with disgust.Michael was shocked but smiled and decided to pl@yalong, cause Ashley was looking directly at him. Michael and Alexa were throu-gh with their chores, they all made their way to the sitting room they sat down.
“Don’t mind your dad, he is too formal” Michael said mischievously.
“Really, I knew it, Dad why not just marry godfather, you guys will make a great couple” Ashley said smiling.
“Well I will only accept that if George goes down on one kneel and proposes to me with a diamond ring” Michael said with feign seriously, George stared h@rd at Michael because he knew what Michael was doing. Adrian and Alexa chuckles.
“Really?!! I knew dad was shy, I knew it, so???? Dad???” Ashley asked looking at her Dad.
“C’mon baby, you uncle is a man and I can’t marry a man” George said.
“But….. Dad…..???!” Ashley said again to her frustrated Dad who was finding what she was saying serious.
“Baby are you serious???”George asked while Ashley nodded.
“Ofcourse she is, am waiting for my proposal baby” Michael said to George who was giving him dagger looks.
“Am waiting” Ashley said as she tried to surpress her laughter.
“Okay fine” George said as he stood up and walked to Michael with his frowning face, his children except Ashley were laughing. He was standing in front of his friend who tries all his best not to laugh.
“I….” As he was about to continue, Ashley cracked up laughing while her siblings joined her.
“Dad, you should see you face, you look like a person that has seen a ghost, I was just pu-lling your legs” Ashley said amidst laughter while George signed.
“Are you sure, I…..” Michael was about saying when George punched him h@rd on his shoulder and giving him a “if you don’t shut up I will kill you” look.
“You were saying something godfather” Ashley said.
“Nope, he wasn’t baby girl” George replied quic-kly as he went over to his daughter and carried her on his shoulder.
“Ashley I think we have a Disney princess movie to watch” George said.
“Dad??? I can’t believe you remembered” she said smiling.
“Yeah that’s unusual of Dad” Adrian said looking from his father to his godfather.
“I totally agree” Alexa said, George’s expression fell because he has not been having time for them, Michael noticed his sad expression.
“C’mon you won’t blame daddy okay, he will make it up to you big time okay” Michael said and they laughed it off. Alexa sat down with Adrian resting his head on his sister’s shoulder while Alshey sat with her father and Micheal, her head was on her father’s l@ps while her feet on Michael l@ps. Alexa tunned to the channel and they started wachting, George wondered what could be so interesting in the movie as they were wachting. Michael secretly tapped George because he was alre-ady falling asleep and Ashley almost got him.
“Thanks” George mouthed while Michael nodded, they continued watching, after the show, both Michael and Goerge bought some office work home which they both brou-ght now to the sitting room, The kids continued wachting the different cartoons with their loud laughs at intervals which almost blocked the men’s ears.

“George, we nee-d a helping hand, like a maid or something to ease our stress and also to have more time with the kids” Michael said during their beak in the office.
“Mickky, you are right but how do we know who to paid for” George said.
“Well you can go to an agency that is in to that” Michael replied.
“Yeah, that’s true, I will see if I can get one” George said.
“Okay but inform me, don’t go or do anything alone okay” Michael said
“Okay no problem” George replied nodding his head.
But unknown to them, someone from the office, the secretary who was about to summit a file to Michael turned back and hasten her movement when Michael and George made to leave the office. She hid herself and saw George’s face because he wasn’t digusing because they thought that every one has gone to have lunch. Michael and George stepped outside of the office and walked to the car park laughing.
“Finally” she said smiling triumphantly, as she tapped her phone which was blank and the picture of both Michael and Goerge appeared full face. She made her way to hall where all other employees were eating, laughing and chatting.
