After Juliana’s attempted escape, Victor denies her access to Abby and keeps the child hidden away. However, witnessing Abby’s distraught, Victor decides to negotiate with Juliana, offering to hold adultery charges in exchange for the child’s custody. Despite Juliana’s reluctance, she eventually agrees to the deal, until another deceitful plan occurs that only deepens Victor’s mistrust of her.
