Disturbia is an electro pop dance pop song recorded by Barbadian singer Rihanna, for Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded, the 2008 re-release of her 2007 third studio album Good Girl Gone Bad.
A team of Chris Brown, Brian Kennedy, Andre Merritt and Robert Allen wrote the song, while Kennedy produced it with Makeba Ridd!ck.
The song was released as the third single from the reloaded edition of the album on June 17, 2008 and received positive reviews from music critics.
It was a commercial success and served as a continuation of the breakthrough of her previous single Don’t Stop the Music.
The single topped the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and also reached Number 1 in New Zealand and Belgium.
It also reached top-ten in over 18 countries including the UK, Australia and Canada.
Disturbia earned Rihanna an award for Best International Song at the 2009 NRJ Music Awards.
