Medical doctor turned musician Tumisang Makweya Known As Dr. Tumi, added another feather in his cap after he managed to fill up the 30 000 seater Voortrekker Monument Amphitheatre, in Pretoria.

The second leg of the Dr Tumi’s Gathering of Worshippers 2018 #GOW18, Beauty for Ashes concert took place at the historic “Afrikanerdomon”

With this feat, the gospel s£nsat!on wrote his name in the history books as one of the first musicians to fill up the Amphitheatre, and also one of the first black musicians to stage a concert in a venue with a painful and divisive history and was known as a bastion of Afrikanerdom with no blacks allowed in.

Dr Tumi said she sees the Gathering of Worshippers as a reconciliatory move and it’s his humble effort in fostering national unity and social cohesion.
