The Centre for Technical, Vocational and Entrepreneurship Training (CTVET) at Kwara State University, Malete, has officially announced the commencement of lectures, practical sessions, and nylon recycling submissions for all students enrolled in Vocational and Technical Education (VTE) courses.
According to an internal memorandum signed by the Director, Prof. Mubaraq Sami, lectures for VTE 204 and VTE 304 will begin on Monday, 13th April 2026, exclusively via the university’s Learning Management System (LMS) Portal.
Practical sessions are scheduled to start on Monday, 20th April 2026, running Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Venues include KWASU Entrepreneurship Park at Afghan (Malete Campus), Osi Campus, and Ilesha Baruba Campus.
In a bid to align with modern entrepreneurial skill acquisition, students enrolled in VTE304 will engage in the production and laying of interlocking bricks, as well as paint production and design. Meanwhile, VTE204 students are required to visit a designated platform to select their preferred specialized skill area.
The memorandum also outlines a Recycling Nylon Submission Schedule running from 13th April to 8th May 2026, with submissions accepted Monday through Friday.
The Centre stressed that attendance and active participation in all activities are mandatory for successful course completion, warning that non-compliance may affect final assessments. Special arrangements have been made for students at the Osi and Ilesha Baruba campuses.
Students are urged to adhere strictly to all schedules.
