Federal Polytechnic Mubi announces Public Holiday for Easter Celebration
The Management of The Federal Polytechnic, Mubi has announced the observance of public holidays in celebration of this year’s Easter festivities.
According to a circular issued by the Registrar, all staff and students are hereby informed that the Federal Government has declared Friday, 3rd April and Monday, 6th April, 2026 as public holidays to mark the Easter celebration.
In addition, and in line with the institution’s established practice, the Rector has approved Tuesday, 7th April, 2026 as a work-free day. However, this directive does not apply to staff assigned to special duties.
Normal academic and administrative activities are expected to resume on Wednesday, 8th April, 2026.
The Rector, on behalf of the Governing Council and Management, extended warm Easter wishes to all staff and students, encouraging them to enjoy a peaceful and joyful celebration.
