Ex-Kaduna Senator, Kwari dumps APC for ADC

Former Kaduna North Senator, Suleiman Abdu Kwari, has formally resigned his membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and defected to the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

Kwari was a member of the National Assembly, representing Kaduna North Senatorial District in the 9th National Assembly from 2019 to 2023.

Prior to his time in the Senate, he served as Commissioner for Finance in Kaduna State.

According to a post on his official X handle on Wednesday, he wrote: “I have formally resigned my membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and aligned with the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

“This decision reflects my continued commitment to public service, democratic participation, and national development.

“I look forward to contributing, together with others, to the advancement of a people-centered agenda anchored on inclusion, accountability, and sustainable progress in the collective interest of our nation,” he said.
