FUDutse VC Appoints New Dean, Deputy Directors, and Heads of Department

The Vice-Chancellor of Federal University Dutse, Professor Ahmad Muhammed Gumel, has approved the appointment of Professor Muhammad Sirajo Aliyu as the Dean of the Faculty of Computing for a period of two years.

In a related development, the Vice-Chancellor also approved the appointment of Dr. Mahmud Bala Musa as the pioneer Acting Dean of the Faculty of Law for a period of one year.

Other appointments include Dr. Anas Musa Ismail as Deputy Director, Academic Planning; Dr. Ahmad Ibrahim Mohammed as Deputy Director, Centre for Entrepreneurship; Dr. Salisu Nasir as Deputy Director, Centre for Gender Studies; and Dr. Aliyu Shinkafi Akilu as Deputy Director, Centre for Social and Economic Research. All appointments are for a period of two years.

Additionally, Dr. Lawan Mohammed Bulama has been appointed as Head of the Department of Mathematics, while Dr. Kura Shehu Shuaibu has been appointed as Head of the Department of Banking and Finance, both for a period of two years.

Dr. Ibrahim Akinbo Abdulganiyyu was also appointed as Acting Head of the Department of Public and Environmental Health for a period of one year.

In a separate letter signed by the Registrar, Alhaji Abubakar Mijinyawa, the Vice-Chancellor congratulated all the appointees on their well-deserved appointments and prayed for divine guidance in the discharge of their responsibilities.
