AAU announces IJMBE admission application, 2026/2027
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Interim Joint Matriculation Board Examination (IJMBE) Programme of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, for the 2026/2027 session.
IJMBE is a national examination body approved by the Federal Government of Nigeria and certified by the Nigerian University Commission (NUC) as an Advanced Level (A/L) examination for seeking admission into higher institutions.
The IJMBE result qualifies candidates for 200-level admission to Ambrose Alli University or any other Nigerian University via Direct Entry (DE). The IJMBE certificate is also accepted by some foreign universities for admission.
Admitted candidates to the IJMBE Programme are expected to select three (3) subject combinations related to their course of study at the university.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must possess at least 5 credit passes in not more than 2 sittings In SSCE, WASCE, GCE O-LEVEL, NECO/NABTEB, which must include English language and Mathematics. At least 3 of the credits must be in relevant subjects.
DURATION OF PROGRAMME
Twelve Calendar months are divided into 2 Sessions.

The application form cost N25,000.
