UNILAG notice on 2026 Chinese (Mandarin) Proficiency Enrolment Exercise

Confucius Institute, University of Lagos (CI, UNILAG) hereby invites applications from candidates interested in Chinese proficiency courses as indicated below:

• Programme Structure

1. The Institute offers six (6) progressive levels (HSK 1-6) of Mandarin Chinese Language Proficiency.

2. At the end of each level, students sit for the international HSK examination. Successful candidates proceed to the next level.

• Programme Packages

1. Weekday Package: Three (3) contact hours, twice a week

2. Weekend Package: Saturdays only, three (3) contact hours

• Admission Requirements

1. Complete the E-Application Form and submit with recent passport photograph. Use this link to complete the form: https://forms.gle/diT39aYmfk7Q1Up36

2. Minimum academic qualification: WAEC/NECO certificate to be attached to the form.

3. A valid means of identification (NIN, International Passport, Driver’s License, Voter’s Card, or UNILAG Current ID).

4. For UNILAG Students & Staff only (in addition to the above):

5. Students’ admission letter/HRMD Recommendation letter for staff.

6. Completed student biodata form or Current UNILAG ID Card.
