The Electoral Committee (ELCOM) of Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic, Zaria, has officially announced the commencement of activities for the 2025/2026 Students’ Union Government (SUG) Election Cycle.

Sale of Nomination Forms

• President – ₦30,000

• Secretary General – ₦15,000

• Assistant Secretary General – ₦10,000

• Treasurer – ₦15,000

• Financial Secretary – ₦15,000

• Auditor General – ₦10,000

• Welfare I – ₦10,000

• Welfare II – ₦10,000

• P.R.O I – ₦10,000

• Academic Director – ₦5,000

• Sport Director I – ₦10,000

• Sport Director II – ₦10,000

• Social Director I – ₦10,000

• Senators (3 Senators per School) – ₦5,000

Forms are available at the Secretary, Student Affairs Division.

Election Timetable

• Sale of Forms: 25th February, 2026

• Screening of Candidates: 9th March, 2026 (ELCOM – AT2M, 2:00 PM)

• Release of Screened Candidates: 10th March, 2026

• Campaign Period: 10th – 15th March, 2026

• Voting (via Polytechnic Portal): 16th March, 2026

• Release of Election Results: 16th March, 2026

Voting will be conducted online through the Polytechnic Portal. All duly registered students are eligible to vote.
