Adekunle Ajasin University announces 56th Inaugural Lecture
Adekunle Ajasin University (AAUA), Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State, is set to host its 56th Inaugural Lecture as part of its academic tradition aimed at promoting intellectual discourse and scholarly engagement.
The lecture will be delivered by Professor Oluyinka Akammu Ojedokun, B.Sc., M.Sc., Ph.D. (Ibadan), a Professor of Applied Social and Environmental Psychology. The lecture is titled “God Made the Earth, Humans Made the Town.”
The event is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the University Multipurpose Hall. Guests are expected to be seated by 1:30 p.m. prompt.
The inaugural lecture will be chaired by Professor Olugbenga E. Ige, the Vice Chancellor of the university. Other principal officers of the university, including the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic) and Chairman, Ceremonies, Professor Adedayo Daramola, will also be in attendance.
Members of the university community, scholars, students, and the general public are cordially invited to attend the lecture, which promises to provide valuable insights into human–environment interactions and urban development from a psychological perspective.
