Admiralty University disowns fake ICT payment message, warns students and staff

The University Management has disowned a circulating message alleging new payment instructions for ICT fees, describing it as fake, unofficial and invalid.

In a statement made available to the campus community, the management said its attention had been drawn to the message, which it stressed did not emanate from the institution.

The university assured students, staff and other stakeholders that all official communications regarding payments, including ICT fees, are conveyed strictly through its recognised channels, such as the institution’s official website and email platforms.

It urged members of the public to disregard the message and refrain from acting on any instructions or information contained in it.
