Zamfara State University begins verification of 2nd batch NELFUND Beneficiaries

Management of Zamfara State University, Talata Mafara, through the Office of the Bursar, has announced the commencement of verification for students listed under the Second Batch of the 2025/2026 NELFUND Beneficiary Scheme.

According to an official notice released by the university, all students whose names appear on the attached NELFUND Beneficiary List are required to report to the Bursary Department at the Temporary Site for verification.

Verification Schedule

Date: Monday, 9th February to Friday, 20th February, 2026
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. daily (Monday to Friday)

Required Documents

Students are expected to present the following documents during the verification exercise:

• School fees Remita

• Student ID Card (for returning students only)

• Letter of refund and a copy of evidence of payment of registration fees for the 2025/2026 academic session (for students who have already paid their school fees)

The university emphasized that only students whose names appear on the attached list are eligible to participate in this exercise, as verification is being carried out strictly in batches.

Students are therefore advised to comply fully with the schedule and requirements as stated.
