Gombe State University update on registration for 2025/2026 Academic Session

The Gombe State University (GSU) has officially opened its online registration portal for the 2025/2026 academic session. The announcement was made in a special bulletin issued by the university’s Public Relations Office on Monday.

The registration process applies to both fresh and returning students. All students are required to complete their registration within the stipulated period to avoid late registration fees.

Registration Details:

Portal URL: student.portal.gsu.edu.ng

Default Password: gsu2026 (students are strongly advised to change this upon first login)

For Fresh Students:

· Username: JAMB Registration Number

· Only students who have successfully verified their O'Level results will be able to complete registration.

· O'Level verification can be done via verifyolevel.gsu.edu.ng.

For Returning Students:

· Username: Matriculation Number

The university urges students to complete their registration promptly and in compliance with the institution’s guidelines. Parents and guardians are also encouraged to take note of the registration timeline and support their wards in completing the process on time.

Failure to register within the given period may result in late registration fees as stipulated by the university’s regulations
