AAU releases 2025/2026 Adjusted Academic Calendar

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Mrs Eunice E. Omonzejie hereby announces the Senate's Approval of the adjusted academic calendar for 2025/2026 academic session as follows:

ADJUSTED ACADEMIC CALENDAR FOR 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION

• Sunday, 8th February, 2026 – New students come into Campus

• Monday, 9th February, 2026 – Continuation of Clearance/Registration of Courses for new students

• Wednesday, 11th February, 2026 – Orientation of new students

• Thursday, 12th February, 2026 – Old students come into campus

• Friday, 13th February, 2026 – Registration of courses for all students/Lectures begin

• Wednesday, 25th February, 2026 – Matriculation of new students

• Thursday, 26th February, 2026 – Course registration for all students end

• Friday, 27th February, 2026 – Late Course registration begins

• Monday, 16th March, 2026 – Late course registration for all students end

• Tuesday, 17th March, 2026 – Continuous Assessment for all students

• Wednesday, 22nd April, 2026 – First Semester Lectures end

• Monday, 27th April, 2026 – First Semester Examinations begin with GST and ENT courses

• Saturday, 30th May, 2026 – First Semester Examination ends

BREAK

• Sunday, 7th June, 2026 – Students come into Campus

• Monday, 8th June, 2026 – Registration of Second semester courses/Lectures begin

• Monday, 22nd June, 2026 – Late course registration for all students end

• Monday, 13th July, 2026 – Continuous Assessment for all Students

• Saturday, 15th August, 2026 – Second Semester Lectures ends

• Friday, 21st August, 2026 – Second Semester Examinations begin with GST and ENT courses

• Saturday, 26th September, 2026 – Second Semester Examinations ends

• Wednesday, 28th October, 2026 – Faculty Board Examiners meet to consider results

• Monday, 2nd – Wednesday, 3rd November, 2026 – Business Committee of Senate meet to consider results

• Wednesday, 11th – Friday, 13th November, 2026 – Meeting of Senate to consider results/end of academic session
