This expansion follows the successful resource verification and approval granted by the National Universities Commission (NUC).

Admission Requirements

Prospective candidates seeking admission into any of these new programmes must meet the following criteria:

· Attain a minimum score of 160 in the 2025/2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

· Possess a minimum of five (5) O’Level credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings.

How to Apply

The university has outlined two primary pathways for interested candidates:

1. Change of Programme for UTME/DE Candidates: Candidates who selected Modibbo Adama University, Yola as their First Choice institution but were not admitted into their initial programme of choice can now apply for a change to any of the new programmes. This is subject to having similar JAMB subject combinations and meeting the O’Level requirements.

2. Change of Institution: The university is extending a major opportunity to candidates who did not initially choose MAU Yola. Interested individuals are advised to promptly effect a Change of Institution to Modibbo Adama University, Yola via the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).
