The Management of the University of Cross River State, through the Office of the Registrar, has issued a vital notice to all newly admitted first-year students regarding the upcoming matriculation ceremony.
In a circular (No. 505) dated January 27, 2026, the Registrar, Dr. (Mrs.) Catherine Ndifon Osai, emphasized that the payment of the matriculation fee is a mandatory requirement for all Year One students to complete their registration and participate in the official ceremony.
Payment Details and Procedure
According to the directive, the matriculation fee is set at Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000.00). Students are instructed to make their payments strictly through the University’s Sundry Charges Payment Portal at the following link:

Gown Collection Process
Upon successful payment, students are required to follow these steps to secure their academic gowns:
Step 1: Print the official payment receipt from the portal.
Step 2: Present the printed receipt at your respective Faculty Office to collect your matriculation gown.
The University management has made it clear that no student will be allowed to register for courses or take part in any registration activities without providing evidence of payment for the matriculation fee.
All concerned students are urged to complete this payment promptly to avoid any delays or complications in their academic registration process.
