Adamawa State University to hold 21st Matriculation Ceremony on January 30
The management of Adamawa State University, Mubi, has officially announced the schedule for its 21st Matriculation Ceremony for newly admitted students for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.
According to a circular issued by the Office of the Registrar and signed by Academic Secretary Abubakar Ahmed Vokna on behalf of the Registrar, Aminu A. Alkali, the ceremony is set to take place on Friday, 30th January, 2026.
The event will commence at 10:00 am prompt at the Boni Haruna Campus Football Ground.
In preparation for the ceremony, the University Management has declared Friday, 30th January, 2026, as a lecture-free day exclusively for matriculating students. All new students participating in the event are required to be seated at the venue before 8:30 am.
The circular further directed all Deans and Heads of Departments to take note of the management's decision and ensure strict compliance.
The matriculation ceremony formally welcomes and integrates new students into the university community, marking the official beginning of their academic journey at Adamawa State University.
