ATBU Department of Verterinary Medicine notice on Physical registration

The Association of Veterinary Medical Students (AVMS), Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), has released the schedule for mandatory physical registration for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

In a notice signed by the Secretary General, Alfa Muhammad Gambo, on behalf of the President, Hassan Abdulkadir Adamu, all returning students in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine are required to complete their departmental and course registration manually.

The registration exercise is scheduled as follows:

· Date: Commencing Monday, 19th January, 2026.

· Time: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily.

· Venue: AVMS ATBU Secretariat, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.

Required Documents:

Students must present the following items for registration to be processed:

1. One (1) green file jacket.

2. One (1) recent passport photograph.

3. Photocopy of the AVMS official receipt (association dues will be paid on the spot).

4. Photocopy of the course registration form after it is completed.

Registration Process:

The notice clarified that course registration will be conducted manually at the secretariat. The course form will be released upon faculty board approval. After successful completion, the form will be signed and approved by the Faculty Exams Officer.

The association emphasized that registration will not be carried out without the complete submission of the first three items listed.

Students are advised to ensure full compliance with all stated requirements to facilitate a smooth registration process.
