FUTMINNA SUG notice to students regarding the closure of the course registration portal

The Students’ Union Government (SUG) of the Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMINNA), has addressed concerns surrounding the recent closure of the university’s school portal.

In a press release dated 18th January, 2026, signed by the Office of the Public Relations Officer, the Union explained that the portal was closed following the expiration of an earlier deadline set by the university management. The development had sparked worry among students who rely on the portal for payments and other academic activities.

The SUG assured the general student body that it is currently in active communication with the appropriate authorities to resolve the issue. According to the Union, efforts are ongoing to ensure that the portal is reopened as soon as possible.

Students were advised to remain calm, as the reopening of the portal will enable them to proceed with school fees payment and other necessary academic processes. The Union further stated that updates on the matter would be communicated promptly through official channels.

The Students’ Union also urged students to disregard any misleading information circulating from unofficial sources and thanked them for their patience and cooperation.
