AKUM directs UTME, Direct Entry Applicants to Check Admission Status on JAMB CAPS

The Management of Abdulkadir Kure University, Minna (AKUM) has issued an important announcement calling on all UTME candidates who scored 160 and above, as well as Direct Entry (DE) applicants, to urgently check their admission status.

In a statement released by the Office of the Registrar, the University advised candidates who have checked their status but are yet to receive their admission letters to take immediate steps to facilitate the admission process.

According to the announcement, affected candidates are required to carry out one or more of the following actions:

• Log in to the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) to accept a programme transfer or complete a Change of Course, where applicable.

• Upload their O’Level results (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB) on JAMB CAPS, as admissions cannot be finalized without verified results.

• Visit the University Admissions Office to confirm their admission status and resolve any outstanding issues.

The University further advised candidates to continue monitoring their admission status through the official AKUM student portal at https://students.akum.edu.ng/.

Abdulkadir Kure University, Minna, reiterated its commitment to a transparent admission process and urged all concerned applicants to comply promptly with the directives.
