NYSC releases 2026 Batch 'A' Stream I Orientation Course schedule

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially released the schedule for its 2026 Batch 'A' Stream I Orientation Course.

In a circular signed by Director Nurd Umar NPOM on behalf of the Director-General, the programme is set to take place across all thirty-six states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The key dates for the orientation course are as follows:

· Commencement & Registration Start: Wednesday, 21st January, 2026

· Registration & Cut-Off Date: Midnight on Friday, 23rd January, 2026

· Swearing-In Ceremony: Friday, 23rd January, 2026

· Course Closing: Tuesday, 10th February, 2026

Prospective corps members for this stream are advised to take note of these dates and prepare for registration, which opens on January 21st and closes at midnight on January 23rd, 2026.
