AFCON 2025: Two quarter-final fixtures confirmed
The first two quarter-final fixtures at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations have been confirmed.
This follows the completion of the last-16 matches on Saturday and Sunday.
Senegal will take on Mali in the first last-eight clash on Friday, January 9 by 5pm local time.
The Teranga Lions fought back from conceding an early goal to thrash Sudan 3-1, while the Eagles needed penalties to see of Tunisia after the game ended 1-1 in 120 minutes.
Hosts Morocco are set to play Cameroon in the second quarter-final match on Friday, January 9 by 8pm local time.
The Atlas Lions secured a 1-0 victory over Tanzania, while the West Africans held on to beat South Africa 2-1.
The remaining quarter-final fixtures will be played on Monday and Tuesday.
