FUDutse warns the public against fake Vice Chancellor's Facebook Page

The management of the Federal University Dutse (FUD) has issued a public disclaimer warning members of the public against a fake Facebook page allegedly created in the name of the Vice-Chancellor-designate of the university, Professor Ahmad Muhammed Gumel.

According to the university, the attention of the management was drawn to the existence of the fraudulent Facebook account, which was opened by scammers with the intention of deceiving and defrauding unsuspecting members of the public.

The management emphasized that the Facebook page in question is not owned or operated by Professor Ahmad Muhammed Gumel and should be completely disregarded.

Members of the public are therefore advised to remain vigilant, avoid engaging with the fake account, and refrain from sharing personal or financial information with individuals claiming to represent the Vice-Chancellor-designate through unofficial social media platforms.

The university reaffirmed its commitment to protecting the public from fraud and urged everyone to rely only on verified and official communication channels of the Federal University Dutse for authentic information.
