FUADSI disclaimer notice on resumption for 1st semester, 2025/2026

The management of the Federal University of Agriculture and Development Studies, Iragbiji (FUADSI), has issued a public disclaimer distancing itself from a viral memo that falsely announced Monday, February 26, 2026, as the official resumption date for the first semester of the 2025/2026 academic session.

In a special release made available to the public, the university stated that its attention was drawn to the misleading information currently circulating on social media and other informal platforms. The purported memo allegedly targeted newly admitted students, parents and guardians, members of staff, and the general public.

FUADSI management categorically described the memo as fraudulent, stressing that it did not originate from the Office of the Vice-Chancellor or any authorized management staff of the university. The institution emphasized that no official resumption date for the first semester of the 2025/2026 academic session has been approved or announced at this time.

Reaffirming its core values, the university reiterated its commitment to transparency, integrity, fairness, and due process in all its operations and communications. Members of the public were strongly advised to disregard the fake memo and to rely solely on verified channels for accurate information.
