2027: Every community now enjoys solar lights – NDDC MD, Igbia Monarchs to Tinubu

The Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Samuel Ogbuku, alongside traditional rulers and leaders from the Niger Delta, has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for extending key development projects to the region.

Speaking through King Collins Daniel of the Ogbia Kingdom, the delegation pledged full support for Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027, citing improved infrastructure and governance.

Ogbuku said NDDC interventions have ensured that nearly every community in Ogbia Kingdom and across the Niger Delta now has solar-powered street lighting, boosting economic activities and reducing insecurity.

‘Suffice it to say that virtually every community in Ogbia Kingdom and in the Niger Delta now enjoys solar lights at night”, Ogbuku stated.

In response, Tinubu assured the leaders of his administration’s continued partnership with Niger Delta stakeholders to deepen development and address long-standing challenges in the region.
