Ogun State announces Holiday break for First Term, 2025/2026 session

The Ogun State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has officially announced the holiday schedule for the First Term of the 2025/2026 academic session.

In a press release signed by the Honourable Commissioner for Education, Prof. Abayomi A. Arigbabu, the Ministry directed all public and private primary and secondary schools, as well as Government Technical Colleges across the state, to proceed on holiday from Monday, 15th December 2025, to Friday, 2nd January 2026.

Academic activities are scheduled to resume in all schools on Monday, 5th January 2026.

The Ministry used the opportunity to advise parents and guardians to ensure the well-being and safety of their children and wards during the holiday period.

The announcement provides clarity for school administrators, teachers, students, and families, allowing them to plan adequately for the end-of-term break and the upcoming resumption.
